Boats allowed(no motor). Kayak rental shop here. Next to launch. Several piers for fishing or jumping in(not at the same time. Good gravel/sand beach here. Be advised-no life gaurd swim at your own risk. Has a parking lot.
Nice place to relax, fish, kayak. Nice running/ walking track around the lake. Good playground and swimming area.
One of my favorite places. Unlike Decker (walter E. Long) lake, you can actually walk around the whole lake here. Lots of places to park. Whether you like fishing from the bank, a pier or a canoe this is the place to be. I think the trail that goes around the lake is 3 miles long. Also plenty of trash cans. I love this lake. The city has done an awesome job in keeping this park clean.
Small groups like run clubs, girl/boy scout troops, athletic teams, and fitness runners swimmers and fishermen gather here. Gravel path all the way around. Play ground and pavilion. Bathroom and an exposed shower.Great for running or biking with earbuds because there's no traffic.
Good spot for relaxing. Like the scenic beauty. But the roads to this lake needs to be improved
This is an excellent place to come and relax. It is very clean and the water is clear blue. You can rent canoes and boat. Even though pavilion is a small, great place to bring my client to relax and enjoy and have picnic.
Great for outdoor barbecuing or birthdays. Occasional triathlons and annual events hosted here.
